Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to share this next season of my life with you!

As you may know, in 2012-2013, I did the World Race – an 11-month mission trip to 11 countries with Adventures in Missions (AIM). If you want a glimpse into my experience, you can visit my World Race blog here or check out the video below. 

Now, almost four years removed from my World Race, I believe the Lord has lead me to re-connect with AIM and the work they are doing through short-term and long-term missions to share the good news about Jesus, meet needs, and advance the Kingdom of God. This summer, I will be participating in the Center for Global Action (CGA) – a leadership and discipleship program of for those who have completed one of the AIM’s long-term trips, such as the World Race.

While in CGA, participants are considered “apprentices” and have the opportunity to focus on a specific area of ministry, while also still working a part-time job in the community (I’ll be working at Chick-Fil-A!). I will be focusing on the “Field Leadership” track of CGA in order to become better equipped to lead others onto the mission field. I believe it is part of my life’s calling not only to go, but also to lead and mobilize other believers to be the hands and feet of Jesus among the nations. I am looking forward to this intentional season to develop and refine my leadership skills – specifically relating to missions. 

As I have dreamed unceasingly over several years about equipping people of all ages to go, and, specifically, about even potentially squad leading for the World Race, the opportunity to do CGA feels like a very strategic next step for me. I have sought the Lord, researched multitudes of other potential life options, weighed all kinds of pros and cons, throughly doubted my decision, and now truly believe that CGA is where the Lord is leading me right now.
